Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 August 2026
Acceptance
By using Prescriply, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms, please do not use the service.
Eligibility
This service is for healthcare professionals legally registered in Bangladesh — such as BM&DC-registered MBBS/BDS doctors, and registered medical assistants and portable card holders, each within their respective legal scope.
- You confirm that the registration information you provide is true and valid.
- You will make prescriptions and clinical decisions only within the legal scope of your registration.
- A “Verified” badge is shown only after a Prescriply admin manually reviews and approves the BM&DC registration number you submitted — not an automated or online check against the BM&DC’s own register; it confirms identity/registration, not competence.
Accounts & roles
Each account belongs to one doctor-tenant. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity performed in your account. Access is limited by role:
- Doctor: full access, including creating/editing prescriptions.
- Assistant: a staff login the doctor creates to run the Serial & Queue (and, if granted, register patients, log visits and take fees) — scoped to the chambers the doctor chooses, and never able to create or edit prescriptions.
- Patient: no account; limited token/OTP-based view.
Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or that infringes others' rights.
- Prescribe outside your legal scope or provide false registration information.
- Attempt unauthorized access, reverse-engineering, or misuse of the system.
- Access or share another person's or patient's information without permission.
Clinical responsibility & AI assist
Prescriply is a documentation and management tool — it does not provide medical advice. All diagnoses, medicines, doses, and clinical decisions are the sole responsibility of the prescribing doctor.
The optional AI assist feature (powered by Amazon Bedrock) is supportive and advisory only — it can make mistakes and is not a substitute for professional judgment. The doctor must verify all AI-generated suggestions before use. The drug database is compiled from the MedEx Bangladesh medicine index — a commercial drug-information source, not a DGDA data feed — and is provided for reference; its completeness or currency is not finally guaranteed.
Plans, billing & subscription
- Free — ৳0: every feature, with a one-time total of 30 prescriptions (not a monthly allowance).
- Pro — ৳199/month: unlimited prescriptions, AI assist, and one assistant seat.
- Clinic — ৳499/month: everything in Pro, up to ten assistant seats, and priority support.
All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). Any applicable VAT or government charges are added as required by law. Paid plans renew on a monthly (30-day) cycle; you may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. After cancellation you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and fees for the current or a partial period are non-refundable. Separate prepaid packs apply for AI and SMS usage (see FAQ).
Intellectual property
The Prescriply software, brand, and design are the property of Prescriply. The clinical data you enter belongs to you and your patient; we receive only the limited licence necessary to provide the service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prescriply is provided “as is.” We are not liable for any clinical decision or any indirect or consequential loss. In no event will our total liability exceed the total fees you paid to us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Suspension & termination
We may suspend or close any account due to breach of terms, fraud, or legal obligation. You may close your account at any time; the rules for data retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. For questions, contact info@publicpulse.com.bd or +880 1717-714676.
We operate within Bangladesh’s legal framework, including the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council Act, 2010 (doctor registration), the Cyber Security Act, 2023, the country’s evolving personal data-protection rules, and — for controlled medicines — the Narcotics Control Act, 2018.
